JSON and NDJSON schemas
Machine output uses integer schema_version: 1. Unknown additional fields must be ignored so compatible additions do not break consumers. Diagnostic progress is written to stderr and is not part of JSON data.
Configuration result
netft info --format json returns endpoint, product, calibration source and revision, two scales, and native unit labels. Scale and unit remain paired under force and torque.
Health-check result
netft check --format json returns the result, elapsed duration, sample count, observed rate, sequence-quality counters, reconnect count, and nonzero-status count. A result can be structurally valid while the process exits 7 because a requested acceptance criterion failed.
Streaming records
Monitor and recording NDJSON write one complete JSON object per line. Each line is independently parseable and contains:
schema_version, timestamp or elapsed time, rdt_sequence, ft_sequence, status,
raw_fx, raw_fy, raw_fz, raw_tx, raw_ty, raw_tz,
fx, fy, fz, tx, ty, tz, force_unit, torque_unit
Monitor records additionally expose current receive rate, continuity counters, and client state. Recording records use timestamp_utc and elapsed_seconds for correlation and monotonic analysis.
Do not parse human-readable text output or exception messages as a machine schema.
